Reconciliation

Campus Ministry: The Sacrament of Reconciliation
  • This coming week, we are blessed to have a few priests coming to La Salle to offer students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation Monday 3/18-Wednesday 3/20. The Church asks the faithful to receive the Sacrament at least once a year. This Lenten season is a perfect time to go to confession and receive the gift of God's abundant love and mercy!
    • The season of Lent is a time for us to seek out the person of Jesus. It is meant to be a time of true conversion, when you walk through the desert and come out on the other side having met Jesus, ready to continue growing in relationship with Him as you contemplate the meaning of his death and resurrection for your own life.

Reconciliation is a profound way to have an authentic, personal, life-changing encounter with the living God; to receive his abounding mercy in love. It is the embodiment of the Lenten season, calling us to participate in his death through our own humility, and experience the grace of His resurrection through absolution.

  • Any students interested will have the opportunity to go to confession during their religion classes and will receive more details/instructions in class. For more information, please contact our Campus Minister, Lauren Numrich, at lnumrich@lasalleinstitute.org
