5th Grade Teacher
La Salle Institute is seeking a full-time teacher for fifth grade beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. The candidate should have a Master’s degree in education and be able to plan and deliver engaging content in Math, Religion, Social Studies, ELA & Science.
Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work in a team environment, teach with enthusiasm and energy, create innovative lessons and be open to professional growth. Finally, the candidate must demonstrate a commitment to the Lasallian mission and be able to teach within a loving, caring and supportive environment.
Founded in 1850 by the Christian Brothers, La Salle Institute is a college preparatory school for boys and girls in grades 5-12. A Catholic school in the Lasallian tradition, located in Troy, NY, La Salle’s mission is to provide a balanced, holistic education through excellent academic and extracurricular programs that promote leadership, responsibility, and service.
