The Super Bowl contest is now open for submissions. Students who guess the correct score of Sunday’s Super Bowl between the Chiefs and the Eagles will win a free casual dress down day and Stewart’s gift card. Please email your submissions to Mr. Sgambelluri. The deadline to submit your guess is Friday at 2:30pm.
A reminder that inspection for all students is an “all day” thing. Students who are observed out of uniform during the school day will be referred to the 1st Sergeants. All teachers and staff in the building have committed to making sure students are properly dressed during the entire school day.
Congratulations to the boys Indoor Track team which after winning the Colonial Council Championship and finishing third at the Section 2 champs is sending 6 athletes to the New York State Meet based on their performances at HVCC on Sunday. Cam Stodghill qualified in the 300, Amar Brown in the high jump, and for the third State Championship in a row the mile relay qualified. This year's squad includes Patrick Graham, Patrick Murphy, Alex Rotondi, and Maccoy McMahon. Amar's jump of 6' 4" is now tied for the 3rd best in school history.
In the girls meet, Quinn Mitchell missed the State Meet by 0.80 seconds in the 300. Special mention should be made that Marissa Fiacco and Quinn Mitchell spent yesterday morning and afternoon with Mr. Levy in midtown Manhattan on the Business trip and then spent the evening in Washington Heights with Mr. Leonard and the track team where they ran the 3rd and 10th best 200m times in Section 2 this year.
Tomorrow is Canned Food Wednesday! This week's specialty item worth double is Snack Packs (variety packs of chips, cookies, etc). Please be sure to stock up in your homerooms!

On Friday, February 10 at 6:45 at Frear Park the La Salle Hockey Team will celebrate Senior Night with the seniors playing their last home game. The first 50 La Salle students to arrive at the game will receive a free t-shirt. Go Cadets!
