La Salle Institute is seeking an Assistant Track & Field Coach for the indoor and outdoor seasons. We are looking for a dependable, knowledgeable coach who enjoys working with student-athletes and helping them develop their skills, confidence, and competitive mindset.

The assistant coach will work with the head coach to provide event-specific instruction and prepare athletes for competition. Candidates should value effort, accountability, sportsmanship, and the role athletics plays in a student’s education.

Qualifications

  • Previous track and field coaching or competitive experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of one or more event areas, including sprints, distance, hurdles, jumps, or throws.

  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.

  • Availability for afternoon practices and evening or weekend meets during both seasons.

  • Ability to meet applicable coaching, safety training, and background-check requirements.
