The library program at La Salle Institute strives to help students become effective users of information and ideas. Through the library, students take advantage of a diverse set of services and activities to support the rest of their curriculum, as well as develop the information literacy skills they need to last them a lifetime.

Primary skills include locating, interpreting, analyzing and utilizing data from multimedia sources, as well as skills in communication, critical thinking, problem solving, research development, collaboration and contextual learning.
