LaSalle Institute’s Science program explores the complexity of the world around us. The goals of the program are to appreciate the many relationships that exist in nature and to comprehend the rules that govern them. LaSalle’s rigorous curriculum covers a wide range of topics and entails a substantial amount of in-depth learning, largely through a variety of hands-on activities. Each Science course – from Grade 6 through Grade 12 – offers numerous lab activities that allow students to play a significant role in their own learning. Projects are also assigned on a regular basis to further promote this sense of “educational ownership.”
The Science faculty is comprised of dedicated professionals who are willing to do anything necessary for students to achieve success. I am honored to be a part of a program that places student learning above all else and does not waiver in its task.
